Martin Hay writesSaturday, 05 November 2005 "Ann remains busy as a reader and I am Advertising Manager for our village magazine which has just come a runner up in a national competition. We don't go carol singing but had over 1700 people for Carols on the Green with a choir and a brass band on a horribly foggy evening last Friday and we raised £1200 for local charities." Martin was a former district councillor, President of the Community Association and church warden in Hardwick.
