Annual Village Show cancelled

There is a very strong possibility that the School will be having some major refurbishment and building work carried out during the summer of 2007. This will mean that there will be considerable disruption to the access of both the Hall and the Community Room, and lack of access to facilities such as toilets. There is also the possibility that there will still be building work going on with scaffolding and other building materials lying around. Face with these problems, and taking into account the health and safety aspects, the Gardening Club has come to the difficult decision to cancel this year's show. We are all aware that the show is highly regarded in the village and are very sorry we have had to come to this conclusion so early in the year, but thought that gardeners would need as much notice as possible to avoid planting things specifically for the show. We will of course hold the show again in September 2008 and will work hard to make it a bigger and better show than in previous years. We look forward to your continuing support.
