We meet in the portacabin on the 1st Sunday of every month at 9:30am. At around 10:15am we go into church to receive a blessing, then sing the last hymn with the congregation. We always get to show the congregation what we have done – we’re sure we have more fun than them!
Here are some of the things that we have done:
- Made up our own raps.
- Played “Hi Harry” where the tongue twister passes round the circle.
- Acted out our own plays.
- Played games on the grass outside. Have you ever tried to transfer one bucket of water into another one just using paper cups!
- Sung songs and used percussion instruments.
- Made fruit punch and experimented with lots of flavours
- Made news reports
- Made a puppet theatre
- Played Flip the Kipper!
- Had a sausage sizzle!
- Decorated leaves to make a vine, then wrote prayers on them
