There are 8 issues per year. For the rest of the current cycle the deadlines and delivery dates are as follows:

Advertising costs

We ask for the following contributions towards the cost of producing 1000 copies of the Hardwick Happenings Magazine when advertising on these pages:

Non-profit groups

Affiliated Clubs & Societies of Hardwick

FREE: A quarter page, half page or full page announcement of your regular activities or a specific event. There may only be room for one per issue, at the editor’s discretion.

Clubs & Societies outside Hardwick:

Quarter page advertisement: £5.50
Half page advertisement: £11.00
Full page advertisement: £16.50

Businesses

Hardwick Advertisers (Business or Trade based in Hardwick or private advertiser resident in Hardwick):

Quarter page advertisement: £5.50
Half page advertisement: £11.00
Full page advertisement: £16.50

Advertisers Outside Hardwick (Business or Trade based outside, or private advertiser not resident in, Hardwick):

Quarter page advertisement: £9.50
Half page advertisement: £14.50
Full page advertisement: £24.50
Small advertisements (maximum of 30 words):£1.10

All charges are per issue. Please ask about a discount for block booking.

Advertisement guidelines

Copy in electronic form can be sent on disk or as e-mail attachment.

Copy can be sent as Word documents, images (tif, jpg, wmf), Publisher or Page Plus files. Please do not send pdf files. These are impossible to resize. Colour photographs will not reproduce well and might not be accepted.

The magazine is produced on A5 size. Therefore a full page or quarter page is portrait shape, and a half page is landscape shaped. We reserve the right to edit adverts that do not fit, and will take care to keep them as close as possible to the original.

We are happy to invoice you but please be aware that failure to pay will result in your advert being withdrawn.
